NFL Week 15 Spread picks by @flowocrash

NFL WEEK 15 Spread Picks
By: Richard Donohue (@floworcrash)

I have been slumping for the past couple of weeks and it cannot continue. RGIII’s late heroism and the Colts late start had me going 1 -2 again. For the year I am now 16 -12, still over .500 but time’s running out on the season. I got three more weeks to take the Sportsbooks down, let’s go.
Green Bay Packers – 3 at CHICAGO BEARS:
The NFL’s oldest rivalry continues this weekend in the Windy City. The Bears are reeling, losing 3 of their last 4 games. Their strength has been their defense, but they are hurting. Tillman is playing hobbled and it shows. Their Defensive leader Brian Urlacher is on the shelf. The Chicago Offensive line can’t seem to block anyone either, allowing 37 sacks so far this year. The Pack however, are the polar opposite. They have won 3 of their last four since their BYE week, 2 in a row since their loss at Metlife Stadium.  With a win, Green Bay can put some much needed cushion between them and the Bears in the Division. This is a game of trends and I’m going to ride The Pack here.
HOUSTON TEXANS – 8 ½ vs. Indianapolis Colts:
Sorry Colts fans. The ride this year has been unexpected and at times, inspiring. Unfortunately, they are about to run into a horror show in Houston. If you turned on last week’s Monday Night game 10 minutes late it was all over. It what was billed as a possible AFC Championship preview, The Patriots EMBARRESSED The Texans. The 42 – 14 destruction didn’t look anything like the 11 -1 powerhouse we were used to seeing. Remember last time they got embarrassed on National TV? They went out and pounded the Ravens 43 – 13. They want to forget about Monday Night as quick as they can, and they will against the Colts. 8 ½ is a lot, but I see Texans winning this going away, and early.
Detroit Lions – 6 at ARIZONA CARDINALS:
I know I’m repeating myself, but THE CARDINALS ARE AWFUL. The Lions are better than their 4 – 9 record. They won’t be seeing the postseason but they will go into the desert and rock The Cards. The Cardinals simply do not have an offense to speak of at the moment. They do not have a QB, and are ranked at the bottom of the league. The Arizona defense has been surprisingly stout this year, despite their offensive troubles. They are ranked 5th against the pass and 12th overall. BUT, I see plenty of turnovers and 3 and outs by the Red Birds, which will give the NFL’s best passing attack plenty of short fields to work with. Winning by a touchdown should be an easy task.
